_______________
Do you remember, during the pandemic, when everybody tried to grow their own food? Well, I attempted to grow my own medicine….
I germinated my seeds, planted them, and got to the vegetation stage where all of the flower’s leaves were growing in.
I even made it to the flowering stage where the plant was starting to grow her buds!
And then… things didn’t end so well, and I was devastated.
After four years I’m ready to try again, but this time I’m using the iGrowCan from Royal Queen Seeds!
It has everything I need, you just plant the seed right in the can it comes in.
Here’s how I’m starting:
Step 1: Germinate the seeds. You’ll need sterile hands for this part. In the germination stage, the seed starts growing so that it can be planted.
I’m using the “paper towel method.” I placed my seeds on a wet paper towel, then in a ziploc bag to create a humid environment.
And after two days… they sprouted! Y’all I have seedlings!Step 2: I wet my coco disk that came in the iGrowCan slowly with 900 mL of water. Then, I wait 15 minutes to let the disk swell.
Step 3: I mix my all-in-one fertilizer in a bowl. I can mix it directly in the iGrowCan, but I wanted to be extra thorough.
Step 4: I placed my soil mixture in the can and created a well for the included grow plug to place my seedling in.
Step 5: I placed my seedling with the white root facing down into the grow plug.
Step 6: I fed them a small amount of water and then placed them in the sunlight.
That’s it! Wish me luck! 🍀
