This Club Is Perfect For You If…

You’re Eager to Change the Stigma

Education is one of the most radical forms of activism there is! Create change in the world by expanding your knowledge, knowing that change begins with the self, first.
The person who doesn’t read is no better than the person who can’t read.

You’re Hungry to Learn, But Need Accountability

This Club will motivate you to stay on track! Ever heard of the Entourage Effect? The cannabis plant works most effectively when all its compounds are working together, and humans are no different. We are all here to grow our knowledge together!

You’RE READY to Grow Your Network

Meeting people in the cannabis industry can be difficult, especially if you live in an illegal state, or are new to cannabis. This group will give you an opportunity to meet with like-minded individuals looking to align with others in this field!

  • “I love that I have ample ammunition for when anyone tries to share negatives of cannabis—I have actual facts + references for where and how they're wrong.”

“I’ve been a member of the Club since it’s inception. I love being able to connect with other community members and learn more about the plant that I love so much.”

    —Cara, Tax Accountant & Writer

  • "This club has made me more confident in my cannabis knowledge!"

“This book club has made me more confident in my cannabis knowledge. It has expanded my view of uses for the plant. It makes learning and reading fun! “I’ve learned so much more outside of the books.”

“I joined book club to hold myself accountable, and get caught up on my cannabis reading. But I learned so much more outside of the books.

I use hemp wicks & wraps now. I smoke more with intention, and know more about the true roots of prohibition.

It's opened my mind to legal discrimination and led me to find out more about causes like the Last Prisoner Project.

There's a dope vibe. I'm selective about where I spend my time, and I look forward to these.

—T. Healer & Founding Member of the Club

Home Grown: Marijuana and the Origins of Mexico's War on Drugs

by Isaac Campos | CURRENTLY READING

  • Introduced in the 16th century by the Spanish, cannabis came to Mexico as an industrial fiber and symbol of European empire. But, Campos demonstrates, as it gradually spread to indigenous pharmacopoeias, and then to prisons and soldiers' barracks, it took on both a Mexican name—marijuana—and identity as a "Mexican" drug. This book is an indispensable guide for understanding the complex origins of weed’s controversial place in North American history.
