Don’t Forget These 5 Things on 420
They’re So Easy to Forget—But Absolutely Essential!
When it comes to 420, everybody has what they're going to consume planned out, which is great!
But over the past few years of celebrating, I’ve noticed that these 5 essential things often get overlooked—which can lead to your 420 festivities getting cut short.
So without further ado, here are my tips for going strong & celebrating all day long this 420:
1. SHOP EARLY!
Get your canna essentials and trending products before the holiday hits, but keep in mind, dispensaries have amazing sales on 4/20!
I’m looking forward to the 4/20 sale at The Woods WeHo because they have 42% off on everything and amazing grab bags if you spend over $100!
I’ll be there with my friends seshing in the treehouse, sipping, eating, and combusting beautiful herbs.
The Woods WeHo is one of my favorite smoke spots in the city because even though it’s in West Hollywood, I feel like I’ve escaped the city and slipped into an oasis.
2. SNACKS.
Speaking of shopping early, your snack rotation is just as important as the blunt rotation.
420 is a holiday—and like any other holiday, we eat—and we eat good!
Skip the meal prep and strict diet, and opt for a little fun instead! I’m planning on grabbing Andy Capp’s Hot Fries, a boba tea, and fruit to eat in between meals.
3. PACE YOURSELF.
Starting your day with a wake and bake is a must!
If you live in a legal state, chances are there are going to be events all day long, but even if you aren’t traveling around your city or town, you’re going to need to be strategic with your consumption.
Make a schedule of what you want to do for the day and plan your consumption around that.
If you plan to veg out all day then the sky’s the limit! If you’re planning on driving or working, make sure you’re consuming responsibly.
Personally, I like to take my edibles at the end of the day because they can make me sleepy, but during the day I prefer to smoke my flower because I can titrate and stay functional.
4. SCHEDULE NAP TIME
Listen to your body during the holiday! If you’re feeling low on energy, get some rest!
It’s also another solution if you happen to over consume.
If you know it’s going to be a long day, scheduling a nap might just be the ticket to get you through it all.
5. HYDRATE
Consider drinking water in between sparking up to combat the itchy, dry eyes and never-ending cotton mouth.
Cannabis consumption can be dehydrating, but your body will thank you if you keep a water bottle with your stash!
These 5 tips are so simple, but so easy to forget! But keep them in mind this 420, and you’re sure to have the time of your life.
