Is Your CBD Product Mislabeled?

Many CBD products are labelled as "non-psychoactive." But is this even accurate? Nope!

When looking at CBD products, I notice many are labelled as “non-psychoactive.”

But is this labeling accurate?

The definition of psychoactive is something that alters one’s mental state.

We know that CBD does, in fact, alter mental states.

It has been shown to help alleviate the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and many other conditions related to the central nervous system.

So yes, CBD is by definition psychoactive—a more accurate label for CBD products would be “not intoxicating.”

An intoxicant is any substance that temporarily diminishes physical and mental control.

And while anti-cannabis propaganda has tried to convince us this is the case, we now know it couldn’t be further from the truth!

So to all cannabis product developers out there, be sure to skip the “non-psychoactive” label for your products, and instead, label it as what it truly is: not intoxicating.
